Mary Anning

The girl who discovered prehistoric sea monsters

An interactive story app about the first Great Fossil Hunter

In this adventure, we’re going back to Regency times – just as the 12 year old Mary Anning has made her first pioneering scientific discovery on the south coast of England.

And that’s where you come in…

When you download the app onto your iPad (from the Apple store) you’ll be quickly transported to the early 1800’s where the young Mary Anning and her brother are collecting fossils on the Jurassic Coast. With just a few taps of the screen, you then become a star in the story, helping identify fossils and rebuild prehistoric skeletons of Icthyosaurs and other pre-historic monsters. But you’ll need help on the adventure.

So who will you surprise with this interactive story app ?
